Did you know that the Diabetes rates have increased by 200% in the past 70 years. 2 out of 5 people are suffering from Diabetes today. And not just Diabetes, there are several other problems like Thyroid, PCOD, Digestive issues, Depression, Insomnia and many more. But why does it happen in the first place? Lifestyle Diseases are happening no only to people of 40 above. Even the youngsters of age 16 and above are suffering from them.


It has become a trend in youngsters that junk and binge eating is considered as cool among their friends group, where as someone eating healthy is looked down upon.


Know the Real CULPRIT!


With the rise in demand of the junk food, youngsters these days focus less on a balanced diet and nutritional meal. They like to eat the greasiest burgers and pizzas made from days old bread, which some how does not even rot. But they feel that salads, fruits and balanced meals are boring, tasteless and not Insta worthy. While eating the junk food loaded with all sorts of chemicals, they feel they are rewarding themselves with happiness. The food with no nutrition, no fibre, no carbs, no vitamins and nutrients, no life source in it is the main cause of the rising of the diseases these days. With a new term called "Lifestyle Diseases" these do not resolve that easily unless someone gives a will to change it. All the lifestyle diseases depends on what you eat. Also skipping breakfast early in the morning and jumping off directly to lunch disturbs the body. The hunger hormone then immediately jumps to the first food it sees, which intern leads to over eating.


People think going to a restaurant and ordering a giant pizza will give them an Insta worthy picture but they forget that, that slice which they will be putting it down their throat will hamper their nutrition. Eating a pizza once a week is not bad for health but, eating it once a week without proper nutrition and exercise will cause a damage in the long run.


Many youngsters are victims of depression, obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, PCOD. In girls as young as 16 PCOD has become a common problem. Not exercising, or eating a balanced meal makes it much worse. Having painful cycles, growing hairs on chin to unbearable cramps is what girls are going through these days.


Many of them do not know that just by changing our diet we can over come these diseases half way. Eating a nutritious meal, adding fruits to our diet, doing an exercise of 30 minutes everyday makes a lot of difference in your health.

Food is the medicine.

Just by making small changes we can make a big impact on our health when we eliminate the junk. Shifting to Ghee instead of Butter, eating outside once in fifteen days, eating at least 1 fruit in a day and several other things makes a big difference.
